The University of Cambridge will bestow an honorary degree upon Linda Colley
at a ceremony in the end of June. Colley is a Non-resident Long-term Fellow for
Programmes in Early Modern and Modern History at SCAS. She was in residence
in the academic year 2017-18.

An honorary doctorate from Lund University School of Economics and Management
will be conferred upon Helga Nowotny at a ceremony later this week. Nowotny is a
Member of the Academic Senate of the Swedish Collegium.

Sverker Sörlin has been appointed Member of the Board of Umeå University.
Sörlin is a SCAS Non-resident Long-term Fellow for Programmes on Environ-
mental Humanities, who is currently in residence at the Collegium (academic year
2022-23).

Bo Utas will receive the title of Jubilee Doctor at the Conferment Ceremony at
Uppsala University later this week. Utas was in residence at the Collegium in the
spring terms of 2001 and 2006.
